Over the last two weeks, our Bowling Club, like the rest of the world, has faced an unprecedented situation. On Monday 16th March, the decision was taken by the Committee to temporarily close the bowling club (in line with the evolving government guidelines) to preserve everyone’s health and well-being. The Coronavirus situation is very worrying for us all but unfortunately the closure of the club was totally necessary, as the safety of our members is our key priority.
Our club’s main sources of income will be severely reduced due to this event, whilst our fixed costs to run the club remain (rent, insurance, utilities and green maintenance). Therefore we are asking all members to pay their fees agreed at February’s AGM (Full membership is £130 and Social/ Residents Members is £30) to enable our club to withstand this challenging time. These payments can be made in the following ways:
Option 1 – By Cheque
Option 2 – Direct Banking
For the required bank details and address details, please either DM our Facebook page or send an email to email@example.com for this information. All fees should be paid before Thursday 30th April.
If you find that you need any help or assistance during the current climate, please do not hesitate to contact any of the committee members who will endeavour to help. We will keep members informed and in-line with Government guidance and communicate as soon as the Bowling Club can be re-opened.
Finally, please keep safe and healthy and we look forward to seeing you all hopefully soon.
